Friday Roundup | What I’m Reading

Happy Friday! Here is a collection of blogs I’ve been reading this week. Desiring God had a lot of great ones. :)

Being Real About Being Real

Here’s another post about authenticity. I like how this topic has been trending lately. As Christians, we need to be careful that we are not attempting to only “be real” in the world’s sense. God is calling us to something higher than authenticity; he is calling us to love one another. Continue Reading →

Friday Roundup | What I’m Reading

I don’t know about you, but I love reading blogs from business to personal. I love a quick read to learn something new or think about something from a different perspective. I also love hearing the gospel preached and being convicted in my faith. So here is a roundup of blogs that I loved this week.

Has ‘Authenticity’ Trumped Holiness?

The Gospel Coalition always posts great things! I saw this blog being shared on Facebook by a lot of my friends and the title definitely grabbed me. Give it a read. It’s an interesting take on current evangelical Christianity and its emphasis on brokenness. Continue Reading →

3 Key Takeways from Mark Kvamme of Drive Capital

Mark Kvamme (Tim Johnson/CEO)

Last week, Mark Kvamme of Drive Capital came to Grove City College. The auditorium was full of students and faculty and everyone was blown away by the passion and success of the entrepreneur. His talk was unlike other lecturers in that he did not come with a list of points to make and specific things we should do as business and entrepreneurship students. The Importance of Searcher Personas

You have no doubt heard of buyer personas or customer personas, but have you heard of searcher personas? I can honestly say this was a new idea for me. After hearing the concept in class, I decided to do some more research.  According to Hubspot, a buyer persona is a “fictional, generalized characters that encompass the various needs, goals, and observed behavior patterns among your real and potential customers” I have learned this in my previous marketing classes, but I have never thought of applying the buyer persona to SEO.
